Here’s a STORY
of someone’s feeling of GLORY,
which left someone’s whole life SCARY.

It’s not about day or night, auto or taxi,
it’s about that one chance WHICHever WHEREver WHENever is EASY.

It’s not about Mumbai Delhi or Bangalore,
it’s about our mentality of considering every other women a WHORE.

It’s not just LUST,
it’s about our moral values submerged deep in RUST.

It’s time to pay HEED,
to women who bleed and those forcefully made to BLEED.

It’s not about YOU or ME,
it’s about considering everyone part of a national/global FAMILY,
And raging EVERY TIME like it happend to one of US,
not just selectively to only one on the BUS.

Authorities will have to LISTEN,
authors will have to write,
but we all will have to FIGHT,
and not just for limelight.
How difficult can it be to stand for the RIGHT?

We have become blind even with our eyes,
deaf even with our ears,
paying no attention to their CRIES and their TEARS,
which go unnoticed towards the skies with FEAR.

I repeat it’s not about auto taxi or the bus,
It’s about the impact of it on each one of us.

Stop blaming Ola or Uber or that driver,
start reflecting on how everyday we chatter.
It does start with tiny tiny things,
frequent abusive words,casual eve teasing .
Why does it even FIT in our daily scheme of things?
It’s the smallest big change everyone can help bring in.
Being respectful to women is EASY,
stop being sleazy and cheesy,
when someone’s not comfortable,
you too shouldn’t be either,
just pause and stay FARTHER.

While you brag everyday with your cuss words about a woman,
they drag someone every night out in the open,
to put some scary wounds which never heals,
don’t worry we can’t even IMAGINE how it FEELS.

Change begins at home, but our homes are on FIRE,
because a few feel women are there only to fulfill their DESIRE.
Can we let our homes burning?
Can our souls REST in PEACE even when we are living?

We have tried Sensationalization,
can we also try being SENSITIVE for once?
After all, BEING HUMAN for humans should be obvious,
but may be we are asking too much from ANIMALS?

It’s not that these are new,
in old times, painful stories that could come out were a privileged FEW.
It’s a malaise since time immemorial,
but it stays even today, is IMMORAL.
For all of us working for a better FUTURE,
it’s time we got rid of this TORTURE.

Being a mute spectator is easy,
being an active participant needs energy.
Can we all rise in synergy?
How long can we act dumb and stay MUTE?
It’s time we found a way to dump, the disease is ACUTE.

All of these heinous crimes,
reflect the cruelty of our times,
There’s no other option,
There’s no more need of opinions,
We need ACTIONS and not INSANE reactions,
But do we have a concrete SOLUTION?

It can only be solved by having more women on STREET,
we need a massive massive fleet,
STOP using women just to GREET,
it’s time women are empowered to treat.

#IndiaRapes is not the hastag we want to be trending,
#IndianTapes are not the videos you want people to be searching.

It’s all deep rooted inside our society
inside each one of us, in varying degrees it manifests,
we need to curb these before we rest.
Let’s make a pledge to do our best
at every place with our actions,
in every interaction, in our every intention,
to make this world a safe comfortable place for every woman.
We all need to find a CURE to make women feel SECURE in this nation.

“If public is not good how can our public transport be,
If public is not good how can our REPUBLIC be”

If you read it fully, the story may have felt really long
but imagine living with the wounds for lifelong
lets help them stay strong with some strong actions and solutions.
